Welcome to Pets Rest In Peace and Toowoomba’s Pet & Equine Crematorium that has been established in Toowoomba City by the request of many local families. Prior to Pets Rest In Peace, establishing in Toowoomba, families had their beloved small pets cremated in Brisbane and no place for large pets “horses” to be cremated in Eastern Australia.

Pets Rest In Peace and Toowoomba’s Pet & Equine Crematorium is a local family owned pet cremation, pet memorial and pet funeral business operated by myself Beric Lees and my wife Sue. We live in Toowoomba and have been serving the Toowoomba, Darling Downs, Lockyer Valley, Granite Belt and South Burnett areas for over the last 4 years, as pet funeral directors, operating & owning Darling Downs Pets In Peace. During that period we were regarded as the longest and most trusted locally owned pet cremation service on the Darling Downs.

We specialise in guaranteed individual pet cremation services but are also able to assist with home burials or home exhumations. Our code of ethics doesn’t allow simple "communal" cremations at Toowoomba’s Pet & Equine Crematorium. With over 20 years of human funeral experience, we have adopted the same procedures for your much loved pet and loyal family companion because, really they deserve the very best.

The two pet cremators, one small and the other large, designed for Toowoomba’s Pet & Equine Crematorium are the latest design to come out of the UK. and meet higher EPA requirements that Australia require, so Pets Rest In Peace are so proud to be able to obtain cremators of this capacity and efficiency to serve Toowoomba & Districts. We are able to guarantee and assure you, that you will receive all and only your pet’s ashes.

Toowoomba’s Pet & Equine Crematorium is fully licenced, EPA and Council approved.
A transfer service for your pet is available 24 hours, 7 days a week in a specially equipped vehicle. Four vehicles are available and operated by qualified staff to ensure that your needs are met in a timely manner.

A large selection of pet urns, timber pet memorial boxes, stone memorial plaques are available for you to choose from, should you wish to keep your pets ashes in a more personalised way. Every family pet is returned home at a prearranged time. You will receive a signed cremation certificate and a gold paw print and lock of hair in a presentation kit.

Our firm commits to a very high standard and we will not compete with prices that only allow for a substandard cremation service for your much loved pet.
