Extra Service Charges for Large Pets

These charges are only used if families choose extra services above what is not included in any of the guaranteed individual cremation services. In fairness to clients, we don’t charge for these services in the guaranteed individual cremation services price because some families don’t need to use these extra services.

1. After Hours Charges

Transfer of a large pet during our normal business hours is Monday to Saturday 7.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Return of a Large pet to your home during our normal business hours is Monday to Saturday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm

An after hour fee is charged for transfers or return of ashes outside of these hours and public holidays.

Pets Rest in Peace has 24/7 on call with limited staff after hours.

2. Travel Charge

Pets Rest In Peace have Free transfer and return travel in the area of Gatton, Allora, Pittsworth, Bowenville, Crows Nest and all places in between. Outside these areas a travel charge for the especially fitted truck is $0.80 per klm to cover fuel and wages .

3. Viewing at our Crematorium

You may wish to say your final goodbye to your pet and spend time together prior to the cremation. Due to the extra time for further preparation, being available a  charge of $66.00 during normal work hours and $132.00 after hours is made.

A time needs to be arranged prior.

4. Celebrant Crematorium Service

If the family wish to have a little service at the chapel to say goodbye, Pets Rest In Peace will arrange it all for you. A qualified funeral celebrant, priest or minster can conduct a small service for the family to attend. As our pets are a special part of our family, you must have the opportunity to have your final farewell in the manner you wish. The cost for further preparation, being available and having the chapel available is $77.00 plus the celebrant, priest or minsters fee.

5. Decomposition Charge
